And what will it do to their careers? And the company? Good stuff. The dubbing is mostly very good In the first ep, sophie's voice is quite loud, but mellows out in later episodes. I'm really digging being able to see shows coming from other countries. Currently one season out on the netflix Icestarfish-1 6 December Please watch this show!! It is so much fun. I watched it in its original language with subtitles and it was so funny, charming, and I couldn't stop watching it. I wish there were more episodes now. Just loved this show. It's smart and sexy, and funny, and serious! The story goes so elegantly and it seems so real and absurd at the same time. The actors are brilliant. Couldn't stop watching! Is that the episodes is so short and that its only 8 episodes every season. Every season takes days to finish. Love the actors, the story and the deep meaning behind every line. Please make more seasons, I want to live at that publish company. Reine Brynolfsson is someone I just want to hug.

He is so warm and funny. And they all complete eachother. MidnightRice 11 November This was just a stunning example of a short series with a great, relatable message about love. Although I would probably classify this series as a romantic comedy, it is not what you would typically expect from one. While one of the driving plot themes is the relationship between Sophie and Max, the series examines at times humorously, and at others dramatically, but always with sensitivity issues like identity and being true to yourself, mental illness, family, progress and diversity, consumerism, and others. I enjoy so much watching it, ang going from laughter to crying. Another theme that pops up frequently is 'political correctness' which is often examined humorously but no 'sides are taken' so to speak. In my view it addresses relatively deep issues in a smart but fun way, while still having the suspense of a romantic comedy. Plus, I like the documentary-like camera work, I think it fits the show well.

I love this and pretty much everything about it. Watch it! It's smart, and sexy, and playful, and wicked, and full of heart. Consider me a fan. LukeCustomer2 8 November This is basically a 6 episode UST between the characters. Sophie is a hot 36ish mother of two who comes to a publishing house to modernize it. Max is a early 20s IT tech who lives with 4 roommates. At first they clash as Max runs a drill during the day which disturbs Sophie.

But he returns late at night to finish and catches Sophie um He takes a photo and, of course, tells her about it. She is rightly worried but it turns out he has no ill intent other than shaking Sophie up a little and freely hands over his phone to allow her to delete the photo. Sophie won't give the phone back and starts a flirtatious game that, good on this show, brings positive results for both of them - and some negative ones. The series was well written and the challenges they gave each other were fun. If you can get past that it is a story about privilege, while not acknowledging the said privilege it is a great tv show. What makes it great is the female centric experience.

Love and anarchy season 2 trailer

It is unabashedly about woman and her mid-life crisis that is still feels fresh and new. It is also about performative aspects of our personality requred by society to fit it. And how, especially if you have that sensitive side, they can take an emotional and mental toll on you. And it is also about lead actress Ida Engvoll's choices. How she switches between a career driven confident woman to an open nerve, desperately handing to the vestiges of her sanity. About how her attentively built facade crumbles, showing a deep unresolved childhood traumas. Sometimes story bits do not match character motivations, but the positives mentioned above far outweigh the negatives. At least in the Season 1. Great actors and chemistry! Can't wait for season 2!!! After the first episode I didn't stop until the end. I loved the actors, their performance was great. I see a great future for the boy who played Max. I wish we all had the courage to be like Sofie or Max.

I absolutely loved this series. The acting, the chemistry between Sofie and Max, the humour, the rebellion. I think we all feel the need o be a bit childish and break free from time to time. It doesn't make us crazy. I really hope there will be a second season. An unexpectedly fresh approach to a challenging and provocative subject. A really smart and inventive couple defy the age gap and more than a few norms of social and professional behavior. Oh, the games they play! A gem of a series very well acted. I am a Korean romantic comedy-dramady addict. In those shows you get eye contact leading up to conversation leading up to awkward almost touching leading up to hand holding leading up to possibly kissing and finally couples in bed touching and light kissing and possibly the man's chest and abs and then a door closing or the morning after with clothing on the floor. I am still an addict however because I started with It's Okay to not be Okay.

So this series popped up as I was searching Netflix for my next Korean show. I was so taken with the first episode I moved right on and loved each one. Bjorn Mosten was 23 and Ida Engvoll was 35 so their ages were in sync with the characters. I can certainly see how they could fall for each other once they become aware of their weaknesses when he catches her after hours office activity. I found their portrayals to be believable and thought their responses to the challenges provocative, thanks writers. Bjorn's portrayal of Max's broken heart made me cry. Thought the interactions between grandfather, daughter and grand-daughter were spot on. I would watch a second season but somehow I don't think I would like it as well. I do recommend season one to anyone who wants some fun, craziness and warmth. I was under the impression that Norway, Sweden and such were capable of churning out only dark and depressing content. Then I discovered Love and Anarchy!

I enjoyed almost every about the show. The acting and nuanced facial expressions of the main actors especially are brilliant! And the story demonstrates how you can highlight serious topics and difficult human emotions while still allowing the watcher to feel good and hopeful through it all. Very refreshing.
